| Peppermint makes the grade with The Manchester Grammar School |
|
Peppermint Digital has come ‘top of the class’ after developing a state-of-the-art website for one of the UK’s most prestigious schools, The Manchester Grammar School. The website, which went live in December, has been developed to support the school’s continued expansion, whilst honouring its rich heritage and reputation as one of the leading independent boys schools in the country. There are over 8000 searches on Google every month for the phrase ‘Manchester Grammar School’ so it’s essential that the school’s website effectively showcases its facilities. The fresh and dynamic website is easy to navigate and incorporates extensive information for parents, students and staff, as well as displaying school announcements. In the first week of January, the website racked up over 10,000 visits in just one day. The site has over 400 pages, including an image gallery and a publications area where pupils and parents can download documents such as exam papers and prospectuses. Graham Robinson, head of Peppermint Digital, said: “The Manchester Grammar School is one of the most respected schools in the country. We’re delighted to be working alongside the organisation to ensure that its online presence is effective and to vastly increase traffic to its site. Sally-Anne Rogers, PR & Communications Manager at MGS, said: “As one of the nation’s top independent schools, MGS needed a digital team to develop a website that did justice to our reputation; Peppermint Digital fitted the bill perfectly. “Not only do they offer creative, hardworking solutions, but they are one of the most professional and friendly teams I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with. “Since the official launch of the site on 4 January the response from our parents, pupils and the public has been overwhelming. With over 38,000 visitors to the site already, we’re delighted with the success of the new look mgs.org and the positive feedback received so far.” |
